Refund & revision policy
What you pay and when, what a revision round covers, and what happens to your money if a project stops. The signed agreement for your project always takes precedence over this page.

Payment schedule
- Pilot ($500, fixed): 100% before work starts. If you sign a full build afterwards, the $500 is credited against its first instalment.
- Projects under $2,000: 50% on signing the Statement of Work, 50% on acceptance.
- Projects of $2,000 or more: 40% on signing, 40% at the mid-project milestone, 20% on acceptance.
Every price is fixed in writing before work starts. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted as a change request and only goes ahead once you approve it.
Revisions
The number of included revision rounds is set in your Statement of Work (the packages on the pricing page list their standard rounds). A round is one set of consolidated feedback from your side, addressed in one pass. Corrections that bring a deliverable up to its agreed acceptance criteria are always included and never count as a paid extra. New or changed requirements are quoted before they are made.
The pilot includes one round of corrections against its acceptance criteria.
Review and acceptance
We deliver each milestone on a staging or test link. You review it within the review period in your agreement and either accept it or tell us in writing what does not meet the acceptance criteria. We fix those items and resubmit. A deliverable counts as accepted when you accept it in writing, when the review period passes without a notice, or when you start using it for live business.
Refunds
Pilot
The pilot fee is not refundable once work has started, with one exception: if the pilot still does not meet its agreed acceptance criteria after the correction round, we refund the $500 in full.
Projects
Instalments pay for work as it is done, so they are not refunded once the work they cover is delivered and accepted. If a project stops before completion, you pay for the work performed up to that point, assessed pro rata against the fixed fee, and we refund anything you have paid beyond that.
Cancellation
Either side can end a project in writing, with the notice period stated in the signed agreement. On cancellation, the refund rule above applies, and once the amounts due are settled you receive everything completed and paid for, including the code and work in progress.
Defects after launch
We fix defects in our own work free of charge for at least 30 days from acceptance, or longer where your package includes a longer support window. New features, third-party service changes and edits made by others after handover are outside that warranty and are quoted separately.
Usage costs
AI model and hosting usage runs on your own accounts, so those costs are billed to you directly by the provider and are not part of our fee or this policy.
